M'reishiyt Hebrew Basics
Course material
Course material:
M'reishiyt courses are based on practical reading lessons from Scripture. We start with B'reishiyt 1:1 (Genesis 1:1) and we learn to read letter for letter, word for word, learning the structure and grammar of the Hebrew language as we go along.
The Basics class is very basic and grammar topics are given summary style. We will cover all the grammar usually found in grammar books. Repetition is the key of learning and the Basics course lays the foundation and puts the first building blocks in place.
Workbooks:
Workbook layouts are designed to make note-keeping and reading easy. All materials are copyrighted for use in M'reishiyt classes only. Students may copy certain marked sections for their own use, but may not give copies of any material to friends.
Lesson material will be given on a weekly basis. Students attending classes will receive hard copies of lessons and a file for storing materials. Long distance students will receive lessons by email and will be expected to print the lessons and file them.
Test group evaluations:
During our revamping process, students will receive evaluation forms with each lesson to be completed and returned at the end of each week. This is a required commitment of the test group and is essential for the assembly of the final product.
