The picture at the top of these web pages is part of the template I chose. I wanted a picture that said something what Derech haTorah and M'reishiyt is all about. I chose this picture because it shows a path. Being or becoming part of Abba Father's way, is choosing to walk a specific pathway. We don't know where it's leading. We only know where we've come from.
The leaves on the trees show it's a changing season. Autumn can lead to winter, which can be a drab and cold season, but we know at the end of that we have the hope of spring and summer - a time of new growth and harvesting.
Abba's way can be like that. Changing from where we've been to where He wants us to be, can be challenging - like walking through autumn and winter. But we know there will be a day when we will see the new life, new growth and we know that a harvest is ahead of us.
Ps 119 starts off with "blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the torah of Y'hovah" - or "blessed are those whose way (derech) is complete, whole, with integrity, who walk (halach) in the teachings, in the direction or in the rain of Y'hovah".
Happy walking!
